Somersworth Paranormal Activity Subject of TLC Show Kindred Spirits Tonight

My love of history is evident in just about everything I do in Somersworth. Never in a million years did I consider that love would lead me to be filming with a cable TV company at the Summersworth Historical Museum but that’s exactly what happened.

Murder, books and Fun

Filming the TV show Kindred Spirits which airs on TLC.For the past year I have been researching and writing a book about a murder that happened here in Somersworth over a century ago. At the time it was heralded as the “Crime of the Century” by the papers and it was a very strange story with many twist and turns. It was also a heinous act committed by one person upon another and with no apparent motive. The only explanation ever given was the “Devil made me do it”.

The murder occurred in the building that is now occupied by Forty Five Market Street Bakery and Cafe which you may recall was on Guy Feiri’s Dinners, Drive Ins and Dives last year. Many recall that building as Pearls bakery but it served a very different purpose for many years. I’m not going to give you the details of the story here because that is where the book and TV show Kindred Spirits come in.

Let the Filming Begin.

Adam Berry of the TLC hit show Kindred SpiritsLast April I found myself standing in the Summersworth Historical Museum with one of the shows hosts, Adam Berry. He was there to film and discover more about and a possible link to some paranormal activity that the show was investigating right here in Somersworth. That will be the main subject of the show which will air this Friday, October 13th at 9pm on TLC.

Adam and his co host Amy Bruni will be busting out all their usual gear and intuition to try and crack the case. Whether they did or not I can’t tell you. As honestly, I don’t know. I hope that you will tune in and watch as Somersworth is the focus of this entire episode and I have a feeling it will be a good one.
